Matured for 17 years in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks, this whisky is part of the 'Sherry Oak' bottling series. The maturation in these casks lends the whisky a rich character, with notes of sherried oak, spiced apples, caramelized pears, and toasted almonds. The aroma is characterized by beeswax, ground spices, and a hint of earthiness, while the palate features a blend of spice flavors, sweet fruity notes, and oak tannin. The finish is described as long with a slight dryness.
