Benromach 1998 Cask No.1 is a single malt whisky produced by the Benromach distillery, commemorating its 20th year of operation since its revival by Gordon and MacPhail. Distilled on August 21, 1998, and bottled exactly 20 years later, this whisky is one of only 575 bottles derived from the first cask filled at the distillery following its reopening. This first-fill Sherry butt cask is notable for being signed by His Royal Highness the Duke of Rothesay, Prince Charles, during the official reopening ceremony.
