One of the oldest Pot Still Whiskeys to be bottled in Ireland hails from the Old Midleton distillery. This limited edition 30-year-old whiskey was distilled in 1964 and bottled in 1994, presented in an oak presentation box, and named after the river that once fed the distillery - Dungourney. According to legend, during his rounds at Warehouse 11, where his father Max Crockett had been Master Distiller, the then-Master Distiller Barry Crockett made a rare discovery. He stumbled upon a cask that was not listed in his stock charts, laid down three decades earlier in 1964. The decision was made to bottle this special cask, resulting in the creation of the coveted Dungourney 1964.
