The GlenDronach Kingsman Edition 1991 is a 25-year-old single malt whisky, signifying a collaborative venture between the GlenDronach Distillery and Matthew Vaughn, director of the Kingsman film series. It was bottled in 2017 to coincide with the launch of "Kingsman: The Golden Circle", aligning the edition with the birth year of the movie's main character, Gary "Eggsy" Unwin.
Characterized by a 48.2% ABV, this whisky underwent maturation in hand-selected Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. The distinctive maturation process in these specific cask types stands as a hallmark of GlenDronach's distinctive approach to whisky making.
A limited number of 2,137 bottles were produced for this edition, each marked by a unique serial number and accompanied by a customized green case. An exclusive gold metal charm associated with the Kingsman franchise is also part of the bottle's presentation.
The GlenDronach Kingsman Edition 1991 embodies the intersection of traditional whisky production and modern cinematic culture, positioning it as a unique item for whisky enthusiasts and film aficionados alike.
