The Glenfiddich 26 Year Old Grande Couronne is a single malt Scotch whisky, differentiated by its two-year finish in French cognac casks. Initially matured for 24 years in a mix of American and European oak casks, the whisky is then finished in cognac casks, bringing the total maturation period to 26 years. This process lends a unique characteristic to the whisky, uniting the qualities of both Scotch whisky and French cognac.
