The Karuizawa 33 Year Old - Cask no. 8908, also known as The Emerald Geisha, is a limited edition single malt whisky from the defunct Karuizawa distillery. This whisky was aged for 33 years in a sherry cask and bottled in 2018 at 54.4% ABV by Elixir Distillers for The Whisky Exchange. It is part of the 'The Emerald Geishas' series, which includes another bottling, a 35-year-old whisky matured in a bourbon cask. A total of 170 bottles were produced, each with a numbered presentation box featuring a magnetic closure.
