Matured in first-fill ex-sherry European oak casks, the whisky has an alcohol by volume of 52%. The maturation process has contributed to the development of the whisky's flavor profile, which includes notes of peat, sherry, oak, and a hint of waxy fruits. The finish is characterized by a smoky and spicy quality.
