The Midleton Very Rare 2014 is a blend of single pot still and grain whiskeys from Ireland. These whiskeys are aged in first and second-fill ex-Bourbon casks for a period ranging between 12 and 25 years. The 2014 release is the first to be overseen by Master Distiller Brian Nation, succeeding Barry Crockett.
Each release in the Midleton Very Rare series is distinct, with bottles individually numbered and certified by the Master Distiller. Initiated in 1984, the series has garnered attention from collectors and investors for its unique annual offerings.
