This release, limited to 710 bottles, is notable for its rarity among whisky collectors. The bourbon was initially aged in a metal-clad warehouse at Stitzel-Weller for 13 years, after which, in 2002, the barrels were transferred to Buffalo Trace to continue maturing until 2014. Subsequently, to maintain its characteristics, the bourbon was stored in stainless steel tanks until bottling.
