The Springbank 11 Year Old hails from the Local Barley series, a collection valued for its exclusive use of locally sourced barley. This particular release, distilled in 2006 and bottled in 2017, utilises Bere barley from the Aros Farm on the Kintyre Peninsula. This decision to use local barley ties the whisky closely to its Campbeltown roots, creating a truly regional expression.
