The Springbank 1989 12 Year Old Rum Wood is a limited edition single malt Scotch whisky, bottled in April 2002 as part of the Wood Expressions series. Originating from the Springbank distillery, this whisky was distilled in 1989 and has a stated age of 12 years. It underwent a maturation process in hogsheads and traditional barrels, followed by a finishing period in rum casks, referred to as a 'Rum Finish'.
