The Springbank 2004 - 9 Year Old - Gaja Barolo is a single malt whisky that underwent a maturation process involving two types of casks. Initially distilled in February 2004 at the Springbank distillery, the whisky was aged for four years in refill bourbon casks, followed by a five-year period in fresh Gaja Barolo casks. It was bottled in October 2013 as part of the Wood Expressions series, with a production limited to 11,000 bottles.
