This is a very limited release from the Waterford Distillery. It was created at the request of the distilleries CEO Mark Reynier for the Head Distiller, Ned to create a winter dram “warm the bones and warm the soul on a bitter night”. This whisky was matured for 3 years, 5 months and 27 days in a combination of 36% first fill American oak barrels, 25% premium French oak barrels, 21% natural sweet wine barrels and 18% virgin American oak barrels.
There were just 1,100 individually numbered bottles produced at a strength of 50% ABV.
