Distilled in 1973 at the Old Midleton Distillery, it is part of the Very Rare Silent Distillery Collection. The whiskey was aged in a series of casks: initially in sherry and bourbon casks for 20 years, followed by refill bourbon casks, then in new port pipes, and finally in a third-fill bourbon cask. This aging process contributes to the whiskey's profile, reflecting the traditional style of Old Midleton.
