Octomore 01.1 - 5 Year Old
The Octomore 01.1, aged 5 years, is a single malt Scotch whisky produced by Bruichladdich Distillery. This inaugural release in the Octomore series was distilled in October 2002, and bottled in December 2008. The series is noted for its high peat levels, and the Octomore 01.1 has a peat level of 131 parts per million (PPM), which made it the most heavily peated whisky in the world at the time of its release.
